And why not try a pizza with Matcha…

Ingredients:

For the pizza dough

  • 2 tablespoons of Greenergy Matcha
  • 1 ½ cups of 000 flour
  • 1/2 cup of 0000 flour
  • 2 teaspoons of dry yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • Warm water as needed
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil

For the tomato sauce

  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1/4 onion
  • 1 garlic clove

Toppings

  • 1/2 cup of shredded Mozzarella
  • 1 tomato
  • Basil

Preparation:

Sift the dry ingredients except the yeast and set aside.
Add the yeast to the ingredients and mix well.
Add the warm water and olive oil and knead until a smooth dough forms.
Lightly coat a bowl with vegetable oil, shape the dough into a ball, place it in the bowl and cover. Let the dough rise until it is about 3 times its size.
Chop the garlic and the onion and sauté in a pot with the olive oil.
Boil some water in a separate pot and cut X-shaped slits in the top and bottom of the tomatoes. Lightly boil the tomatoes until the skin begins to wrinkle. Transfer to an ice bath to cool them and then carefully remove the skin. Chop them.
Add the tomatoes to the onions and garlic. Cook over low heat.
Divide the pizza dough in two and roll out each one to the desired thickness.
Place the sauce, mozzarella, basil, and any toppings you like on your pizza.
Bake at 400 degrees for about 10 minutes.
Tip: Bread dough is not too temperamental, so there is no need to worry too much about how long you let it rise.
